Hello Everyone,

I’m sure the good news that the Gagetown-Jemseg Ferry is returning has reached nearly everyone in the area by now.

The Village Council has expressed its gratitude to Premier Higgs, Minister Oliver and Minister Wetmore for their efforts in making the return of the ferry a reality.  The Village Council also expressed its gratitude to all the members of the Ferry Committee who have worked tirelessly over the past number of years to keep the issue at the forefront.  Without the efforts of the Committee and the Higgs Government’s willingness to listen, the return of the ferry might never have happened.
